                                Instructions for teCSEarch-15

Note:-Participants are requested to note the following

·        If any participant is found that he/she is spoiling the environment of the event his/her participation will be cancelled on the spot and registration fees will not be refunded.
·        The decision of examiner is final in every event and no arguments are entertained.
·        All students are requested to come with their college ID without which they are not permitted into the campus.
·        The participation certificates will be issued only in the valedictory function.
·        The Prizes and Merit Certificates will be awarded only in the valedictory function.
·        Spot registrations are accepted based on the availability of the slots on first come first serve basis.
·        There is a common registration fee of Rs.150/- per candidate.



I.                  For Paper Presentation:
1.      The time limit for the presentation is,
8 minutes for Presentation
2 minutes for Queries
2.      If there are more than one participant per paper, they should share the given time equally.
3.      No Extra time is given for presentation. If you consume more than the allotted
time, you will loose marks.
4.      Participants should be available at the venue 20 minutes in advance for their presentation.
5.      Participants should bring soft copy of the presentation on a CD or a pen drive.
6.      Registration fee: Rs.50/- per head per Paper.
7.      The authors should register their names at the registration desk at the venue before 09.30AM on the day of event.
8.      Every registered participant will be provided lunch and a participation certificate.
9.      The participants are requested to send their abstract in A4 size setting with ARIAL font of SIZE 12 by writing their H.T.NO., Name, Year, Branch, College Name, E-mail ID and Contact numbers.

II.               For Poster Presentation:
1.      The time limit for the presentation is,
4 minutes – for Presentation
1 minute – Queries
2.      Participants should be at the allotted table from beginning to end of the event.
3.      Participants should be ready to explain when judge arrives.
4.      Registration  fee : Rs.50/-per head per poster.
5.      Registration should be done on or before 09.30AM on the day of event.
6.      Every registered participant will be provided lunch and a participation certificate.

  • III.           Instructions For Idea Presentation:
    1.      The time limit for the presentation is,
    4 minutes – For Presentation
    1 minute – Queries
    2.      The participant voice should be audible and clear.
    3.      Registration fee:  Rs.50/- per head per idea.
    4.      Registration should be done on or before 09.30AM on the day of event.
    5.      Every registered participant will be provided lunch and a participation certificate.

    IV.           Instructions For Short Film:

    1.      The length of short film should not exceed 5 minutes.
    2.      The participant should be ready with their CD for presentation.
    3.      Registration fee: Rs.50/- per head per film.
    4.      Registration should be done on or before 09.30AM on the day of event.
    5.      Every registered participant will be provided lunch and a participation certificate.

    V.               Instructions For Coding and Debugging:
    1.      It is an individual event.
    2.      Registration fee: Rs.50/- per head.
    3.      Every registered participant will be provided lunch and a participation certificate.
    4.      There are three rounds each round requires skills of C-language
    Round-1:
    1.      Need to find out the output for the given program within 15 minutes.
    2.      The short listed candidates will be promoted to round-2.
    Round-2:
    1.      Need to debug the given program and write the output within 15 minutes.
    2.      The short listed candidates will be promoted to round-3.
    Round-3:
    1.      Need to write the code and execute the given program within 30 minutes.
    2.      One candidate who shows the right output first will be selected as winner of the    
          event.


    VI.           Instructions For Quiz 360o:
    1.      Each team should have only 2 members.
    2.      The participants have to from their own teams.
    3.      More than one team can be accepted from a college.
    4.      Registration fee: 50/- per head.
    5.      Registration should be done on or before 09.30AM on the day of event.
    6.      Every registered participant will be provided lunch and a participation certificate.
    7.      The selection of teams for quiz is as follows
    -In the morning session a preliminary round (written test) will be conducted for the registered teams for selecting the teams.
    -The top FIVE teams will be selected for QUIZ
    - Written test will have about 30 questions and to be completed within 30 minutes.
    -QUIZ will be conducted in the afternoon session. It contains five rounds. The details of rounds as follows

    Round 1: Sports – 28 Minutes
    1.      No. of Questions: 25
    2.      Response Time: 50 Seconds
    3.      Marks per each question – 5 Marks

    Round 2: History & Current Affairs – 28 Minutes
    1.      No. of Questions: 20
    2.      Response Time: 50 Seconds
    3.     Marks per each question – 5 Marks

    Round 3: Technical – 28 Minutes
    1.      No. of Questions: 15
    2.      Response Time: 2 minuets and 30 Seconds
    3.     Marks per each question – 5 Marks

    Round 4: Memory Round – 28 Minutes
    1.      No. of Questions: 20
    2.      Response Time: 30 Seconds
    3.      Marks per each question – 5 Marks

    Round 5: Rapid Fire – 28 Minutes
    1.      No. of Questions: 10
    2.     Marks per each question – 2 Marks


    VII.        Instructions For Jam(Just A Minute):
    1.      It is an individual event.
    2.      Maximum time given for participant is 2 minutes which contains one minute for thinking and one minute for presentation.

    3.      The person picks up a token from the box, should speak on the specified topic written on the token for about 1 minute meaningfully, fluently, confidently and should give valuable information.
    4.      Registration fee:50/-
    5.      Every registered participant will be provided a participation certificate.
    6.      The participants should register their names at the registration desk before 09.30AM on the day of event.
    VIII.    Instructions For LAN Games:

    1.      Registration fee: Rs.50/-.
    2.      Participants should register their names at the registration desk at the venue before 09.30AM on the day of the presentation              
    3.      Every registered participant will be provided a participation certificate.
